British Volleyball launches replica merchandise range

The British Volleyball Federation are pleased to announce the launch of a range of merchandise available through one of the UK’s leading online sports and leisurewear suppliers, Kitlocker.com.

Earlier this year the BVF partnered up with leading Italian sports clothing manufacturer Erreà, creating a clothing range that included bespoke match kits, tracksuits and sweatshirts, alongside off-the-shelf training and travel garments.

Mr. Angelo Gandolfi, owner and founder of Erreà Sport said: “We are delighted to be working with GB volleyball, especially in this exciting period up to the 2012 London Olympic Games, and we hope that this is the start of a very long relationship.”

“The high quality, competitively priced and readily available volleyball specific products, of Errea, coupled with the dynamic efficiency of award winning Sheffield based Kitlocker.com, made this an irresistible business decision when we needed to kit out our teams ahead of the 2010 international volleyball season.” commented British Volleyball’s Performance Programme Manager, Kenny Barton. “We are excited to offer the chance for fans to wear the same shirts and clothing as their GB heroes, in a service which we believe is only currently offered by the Italian Volleyball Federation.”

Tom Ward, owner and founder of Kitlocker.com added: “It is fantastic to be able to offer volleyball fans all over the world the opportunity to buy British Volleyball replica merchandising and increase our offering to the volleyball market.”

Erreà Sport, founded in 1988, are an Italian company specialising in the production of technical sportswear and are regarded as one of the leading brands at both national and international level. From the head offices at San Polo di Torrile in the province of Parma, which have now grown to 15,000 square metres, all the phases of production are created and developed. The company’s internal production combined with an in-house graphic design department, equip Erreà with the skills and techniques to create garments and complete ranges of personalised clothing in order to satisfy the needs of clients and professional clubs alike. They supply kit not just in the world of volleyball (National Teams – France, Cameroon, Tunisia, Australia, Turkey, Sweden; Pro Clubs: Itas Diatec Trentino (European & World Club Champions), Foppapedretti Bergamo (European Champions League Winners) [both ITA], PGE Skra Belchatow (Polish Champions & 3rd in Europe) to name but a few) but also football (Parma FC, Bari AS [both ITA], Boston United, Darlington, Grimsby Town, Bristol Rovers, Brighton & Hove Albion, Cheltenham Town, Northampton Town [all ENG]), basketball (Sheffield Sharks, England Basketball) and rugby (Benetton Treviso [ITA], Perpignan [FRA], Pontypridd [WAL]). Erreà is the official provider of referee uniforms for Volleyball England, another deal that was brokered through Kitlocker.com.

Kitlocker.com was established in 2005, by volleyball players Tom Ward and Mike Kent, with the knowledge that leisurewear provision within the university sector was extremely disjointed. They recognised the failings in provision and embarked on creating an innovative and comprehensive service. They aim to provide high quality goods at highly competitive prices and with exceptionally good customer service. Kitlocker.com is the largest volleyball kit supplier in the UK, and has now started exporting kits across the world. They recently provided the referee uniforms for the 2010 WOVD World Sitting Volleyball Championships, held in Oklahoma, USA. Based in Sheffield, they have just moved to their fifth operating premises in five years as there business grows at an astounding rate.
