Luxembourg, January 31, 2017. In order to raise the profile of the “Volleyball at School” project and to engage with as many fans as possible, especially with the younger ones, the CEV are launching a contest inviting people to draft a logotype and motto / name to go with it. As a result, fans from across Europe and of any age are invited to take part in this action and come up with their creative ideas for a logo and motto / name to identify the “Volleyball at school” project. The eventual winner will enjoy a truly unique experience – travelling to one of the two 2017 CEV Volleyball Champions League Final Four tournaments scheduled for late April!
In order to leave space and freedom for fans to express themselves in the most creative and innovative way, no specific guidelines are provided as to what the logo and motto / name have to include and / or have to look like, with the only exception to that being three key words (Volleyball, Europe, School) summarising the essence of the project.
The motto / name designed to go with the logo should be in English to make it understandable to an international audience and epitomise the spirit of a project involving young pupils, students and Volleyball.
All entries are to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 12, 2017. A shortlist of nominees will be published on the CEV social media channels for fans to indicate their favourite one. A CEV-appointed Jury will review the shortlisted proposals before the eventual winner is announced and the logo / motto implemented across the whole continent.
The CEV will relinquish all rights with regard to the use and dissemination of all visuals produced for the contests except the eventual winning one. By taking part in the contest, the winner accepts that any intellectual property rights associated with his / her artwork are transferred to and owned by the CEV, meaning that the CEV are free to amend the design as needed.
