To enable more people to participate in our sport, provide opportunities and assist our members at all levels of the game and to use our reach and influence to create a sustainable future.

Our History

NI Volleyball was founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic school teachers and youth workers, the Northern Ireland Volleyball Association (NIVA) has grown significantly over the years. We are proud to have a rich history of promoting volleyball, organising leagues, and hosting tournaments that bring together players from all backgrounds.

Our Programs

– Youth Development: We offer programs for young athletes to learn and develop their volleyball skills in a fun and supportive environment.
– Coaching and Education: We provide training and certification for coaches to ensure high-quality instruction and mentorship.
– Competitive Leagues: Our leagues cater to various age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
– Beach Volleyball: We promote beach volleyball through our national beach volleyball program, offering opportunities to compete and enjoy the sport in beautiful outdoor settings.
