National Talent Development Coach – Indoor

Northern Ireland Volleyball, in partnership with FIVB, is seeking to recruit a National Talent Development Coach to work alongside the National Performance Manager in planning and implementing the development of our performance pathway, athletes, squads and programmes with a focus on but not limited to, the female indoor volleyball pathway. Adding expertise, value and focus to our national development initiatives and deliver on our performance planning objectives.

  • 12-month Fixed Term Contract (Self Employed Basis) with possibility of extension funding dependent – Commencing Autumn 2025
  • 32.5hrs per week, flexible weekly schedule to accommodate training sessions – Salary £30,000.
  • Based in Northern Ireland

This post is initially offered for a 12-month fixed term contract. Subsequent funding for a continuation of the position (past the initial 12-month appointment) will be dependent on a review of the role and the positive results against outcomes set within the initial appointment.

The successful candidate will share our passion and vision for the development of volleyball and the appointed person will be required to demonstrate a proven record of successful work with elite athletes and programmes. Knowledge required for the role includes finance management, project delivery, IT, and statistical analysis, together with excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills. (Spoken English is essential). Required also is the ability to influence, network and develop elite coaching and coaching contacts successfully within indoor volleyball at an international level.
