Dalriada U16 Boys volleyball team have won Junior Team of the Year at Causeway Coast and Glens Sports Awards.
The Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Sports Awards were held last night on the 1st November. A huge night for celebrating the vast sporting success of the borough from individual to team sports, coaches and officials.
Dalriada U16 Boys volleyball were shortlisted for the Junior Team of The Year awards and were crowned winners ahead of five other shortlisted teams.
The team had a fantastic 2023/24 season, winning all domestic competitions, qualifying them for the All Ireland Finals where they defeated their Irish rivals St. Brigid’s from Co. Galway. This was a huge event, where they played in front of 340 supporters at the home of Northern Ireland Volleyball, South Lakes Leisure Village.
